Blessings and Peace to you from our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ,

My name is Pastor Frank Kauzlarich and it is my joy and privilege to serve with the community of St. Paul Lutheran Church.

"Saint Paul Lutheran Church is a welcoming family (involved with) bringing Christ into people's lives by developing, educating, nurturing, and supporting disciples."  As a Pastor of an Evangelical Lutheran Church in America congregation, I am called to 'teach, preach, administer the Sacraments rightly and equip the saints for ministry.'  The 'equipping of the saints,' speaks profoundly towards making and growing as disciples of Christ, which is at the core of our mission statement.

Pastor Kauzlarich graduated from Carthage College and Luther Northwestern Theological Seminary. He began his ministry with this community of faith in December of 2014. Prior to serving with the people of Saint Paul, he interned at American Lutheran Church in Grand Junction, Colorado and served as Pastor in Wisconsin for St. John Lutheran Church in Wausau, Grace Lutheran Church of Green Bay and Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Howard.

Pastor Frank married his wife Anne ('nee Wilterding), in 1984, who has long roots into Door County’s heritage. Anne and Pastor Frank have a son, Mark, who is a freelance photojournalist in Brooklyn, New York. Anne and Frank enjoy visiting Mark and being visited by him.  During Pastor Frank’s spare time, he enjoys being with family and playing golf. He also enjoys Door County all while admiring local Wisconsin art.

Some of his passions in ministry include worship planning and leadership, preaching, and teaching, especially the Gospel of Luke, the healing stories and parables of Jesus, and concerning our response to God (stewardship). “It is a joy to be 'out and about visiting people where they live their lives. I have a great admiration for the life lived by Dietrich Bonhoeffer and for his theology and writings.”
